General carpentry is the work that holds a house together and the work nobody notices when it is done right. We frame walls, sister joists, rebuild rotted rim and trim, cut in openings, hang built-ins and put up the shelving and storage that makes a room finally usable. If it is made of wood and it needs to be square, level and strong, it is what we do.
A lot of our carpentry starts as a list — a soft spot on a porch, a wall that needs to come out, shelves for a laundry room, a bookcase in an awkward alcove. Rather than sending you to four different trades, we scope the whole list, sequence it sensibly and knock it out in one project.
